Belinda Lee

She holds a PhD from a leading UK university, specializing in Buddhist philosophy and mindfulness studies. With over twenty years of Zen practice, her work is grounded in both long-term training and lived experience.

Her path includes years of monastic training as well as academic research, allowing her to bridge traditional Chan (Zen) practice with contemporary understanding in a clear and accessible way.

She has taught in UK higher education and holds a counselling qualification (TQUK), along with a Certificate of Mindfulness Practice from the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors (AIPC). Her work gently integrates these perspectives into a grounded and attentive approach to guidance.

She has offered mindfulness-based workshops for diverse communities, including the University of Sheffield, professional associations, and legal practitioners in the UK. Her research has been published in The Teacher Training Journal, and she has presented internationally at institutions such as Academia Sinica, the University of Hamburg, and the American Academy of Religion.
